carolina negroni
Carolina Negroni studied Art Education and Communication at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, where she began to cultivate her interest in photography. She later completed a Master’s degree in Visual Cultures and Artistic Practices at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan (2017)
Her work focuses primarily on analog photography, through ongoing research with 35mm and 120mm film. Drawn to the notion of imperfection as a form of absolute perfection, she explores this concept across different bodies of work and visual experiments.
She debuted with EYE, her first solo exhibition in March 2024 at BoA Spazio Arte, followed by LIFE, presented in the Crypt of San Zama. Through objects and everyday gestures, Negroni reflects on the cycle of life, building intimate yet collective narratives that question and reinterpret universal themes.

Latest project
(upcoming exhibition)
The latest project Carolina Negroni is developing is a visual and photographic exploration rooted in analog practice, expanding through both black-and-white and color film.
It follows a tangible thread — a line that quietly binds the images, subtle yet present, guiding the work like a pulse. The photographs emerge as fragments of a narrative that is still forming: gestures of light, textures suspended, traces that reveal themselves only when observed slowly. There is no urgency in this project — it unfolds with the rhythm of something that needs time, like a thought returning, or an echo that persists.
